Azzurri Training Session (Euro 2008)

The National team coached by Lippi will begin 2009 with an important friendly match. On February 10th at the “Emirates” stadium in London (7:45 pm local time, 8:45 pm Italian time), Brazil and Italy will play a friendly match for fans who will see the two most prestigious and winning national teams in the history of football against each other.

On Saturday, February 7th, Lippi will release the list of players called and the team will meet on Sunday, the 8th, in Milan. On Monday, the 9th, the team will train at the “Giuseppe Meazza” stadium in Milan (10:30 am) and in the afternoon they leave for London; before the second training session (“Emirates” stadium at 7:00 pm local times, 8:00 pm Italian time), the head coach will have a press conference, while the players will meet with the journalists at the end of practice.

Ticket sales for this match are going full speed ahead: tickets cost from 35 to 75 Pounds. The only sales channel is through Arsenal: to purchase tickets you must go to the Arsenal Internet site: click on www.arsenal.com and go to “tickets” where on the on-line purchase modalities are explained. Tickets can also be purchased at the ticket booth at the Emirates stadium in London: tickets do not have to be nominative in England. Figc does not have any tickets to sell but does have a share of tickets that will be assigned according to the Italian rules and regulations based on contractual obligations with sponsors and commercial partners, on the needs of internal components, the team groups and to satisfy the needs of the press.
